OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees working with or around monorail mounted ladles used to move molten metal were exposed to struck by and burn hazards during the troubleshooting of hoist panel: a) At the melt shop: On or about August 28, 2018 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by and burn hazards, in that precautions were not taken to prevent the movement of other working parts of the Melt Line so they could not contact employees while performing troubleshooting activities on the monorail ladle delivery hoist.
