29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:    a) On or about 9/13/18 at a roof project at 1835 Maple Road, Amherst, New York; employees installing aluminum parapet caps were not protected from falling approximately 15 feet. Employees were wearing harnesses but were not connected to rope grabs and there were no monitors.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED    Sahlem's Roofing & Siding Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1193794, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 4/16/18, with respect to a workplace located at 4968 Clark Street, Hamburg, New York.    Sahlem's Roofing & Siding Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106566, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/31/16, with respect to a workplace located at 6337 Transit Road, Lancaster, New York.
