29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided information and training on hazardous chemicals or materials in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced into their work area: a) Production Area: On or about September 12, 2018, the employer exposed employees to a health hazards by not providing training to all employees on the new hazard communication standard Global Harmonized System (GHS) that took effective December 1, 2013. The employees were using the hazardous chemical on a daily basis, such as but not limited to propane, spray paint and hydraulic fluid.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: (a) Production Area, On or about September 12, 2018 and times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and chemical hazards in that a hazard assessment was not certified while employees were using tools, forklifts and chemicals such as, but not limited to propane, spray paint, and hydraulic fluid.
