29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(2)(i) and (b)(2)(ii) of this section, each scaffold platform and/or walkway was not at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide. On September 24, 2018, an employee worked on the exterior walls of a residential building under construction, on a wooden scaffold where the platform was not at least 18 inches wide. The employee was exposed to a fall hazard 3 feet to the ground.
