29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  On or about 3/24/2020 at The Overlook at Hamilton Mill, Lot 38, Dacula, GA where the employer failed to ensure workers performing framing operations were protected from fall hazards where: a. a framer was observed walking the top plate without the use of personal fall protection exposed to eight foot fall hazards to the lower level. b. a framer was observed walking at the open wall without the use of personal fall protection exposed to 12-foot fall hazards to the ground.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  On or about 3/24/2020 at The Overlook at Hamilton Mill, Lot 38, Dacula, GA where the employer failed to ensure workers performing framing operations were protected from eight-foot fall hazards to the concrete lower level when the eight-foot Werner step ladder was too short to safely access the second floor of the new construction residential home, requiring workers to use the top step for access and egress.
