29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Quality Inn Danville: Employees worked with hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited to, Ecolab cleaning chemicals, and the employer did not provide these employees with hazard communication training, as discovered on or about 09/27/2018. b) Quality Inn Danville: Employees were exposed to the toxic gas, carbon monoxide (CO), from the known malfunctioning of a hot water boiler, and the employer failed to provide employees with hazard communication training specific to CO, as discovered on or about 09/27/2018. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
