29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): The employer did not ensure hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces were corrected or repaired before an employee used the walking-working surface again. When the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard was not guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired: a. 355 Davidson Mill Rd., Jamesburg, NJ The employer did not ensure hazardous conditions on walking working surfaces were corrected prior to allowing employees to use the working surface. Employees engaged in the warehousing of merchandise worked from an elevated platform that was not properly protected and repairs were not made with a fall protection system or guardrails that would prevent employees from falling to the next lower level. Violation occurred on or about October 2, 2018

Employees engaged in warehousing activities retrieved products and merchandise from pallets at or near the edge of a work platform where the employer installed a chain as a guardrail.
