29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about October 10, 2018, on the south exterior elevation of the Renaissance Financial Center located at 200 Indian River Drive in Fort Pierce, Florida, an employee was exposed to a fall of approximately 12 feet - 7 inches when performing caulking work from the roof of a commercial structure while not being protected from falling to the lower level.
