29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: a) On or about October 24, 2018, the employer failed to implement engineering and/or administrative controls to control employees exposure to occupational noise. An employee working in the dismantling saw area was overexposed to noise at an 8 hour time weighted average of 98.9 dBA, which exceeded the action limit of 85 dBA and the OSHA permissible exposure limit of 90 dBA.
