29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch. Car Care Center, workbench area located between bays 4 and 5; on or about 10 October 2018 and times prior thereto; the work rest on a DeWalt bench grinder, model DW758, was not properly adjusted to a maximum of one-eighth of an inch from the abrasive wheel and work rest. The gap between the abrasive wheel and work rest measured approximately one-half of an inch. This condition exposed employees to a caught in hazard.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Car Care Center, eyewash station adjacent to bay area 8; on or about 10 October 2018 and times prior thereto; the eyewash station was blocked by two rolling 55-gallon fluid storage containers. This condition exposed employees to eye trauma hazards. The Army Air Force Exchanges Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1147810, notice number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 16 June 2016, with respect to a workplace located at JBER Army Air Force Exchanges Services Facility Maintenance Operations tool cage area.
