29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Facility, 149 Nichol Avenue, Building 4A,McKees Rocks, PA: On or about October 17, 2018 the end of the tail pulley section of the Wilson 42" mobile conveyor was not guarded to prevent contact with the rotating parts. An employee was injured when they made contact with the rotating parts and became caught. The employee sustained broken bones, ligament and tendon damage.
