29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. a. On or about November 7, 2018, in the facility, employees required to perform wood pallet manufacturing were exposed to the hazard of fire due to accumulations of wood dust on floors. The Rapid Pallets Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.22(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1075950, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on October 1, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 9700 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, IL, 60455.
