29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): a.) Venango Steel, Inc. - On or about November 9, 2018, and at times prior thereto: employees worked with or around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, metal dust, metal fumes, and carbon monoxide. Safety data sheets for hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Alloy Steel were not maintained at the worksite nor was there a method/procedure in place to ensure SDSs could be provided to an employee requesting access to the document.
