29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about November 1, 2018 and at times prior, the employer, EMJD Corporation, did not ensure employees, who were required to operate a Trumpf Trubend 5130 press brake, were protected from crushing hazards. b) On or about November 1, 2018 and at times prior, the employer, EMJD Corporation, did not ensure employees, who were required to operate a Accurpress 725012 press brake, were protected from crushing hazards. c) On or about November 1, 2018 and at times prior, the employer, EMJD Corporation, did not ensure employees, who were required to operate a Southend Precision Lathe - Model A were protected from caught-in hazards due to the lack of a chuck guard covering the point of operation.
