29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) Entirety of the roof at 800 Ogletown Road, Newark, Delaware - On or about June 7, 2018, the employer did not ensure that all employees working approximately twelve (12) feet above grade were protected from falls with either a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or a combination thereof with a warning line system, on a building larger than fifty (50) feet wide. A safety monitor was not on the roof when employees were exposed to falls using a warning line system. P&C Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 948172, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 11, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 33rd & North Market Street in Wilmington, DE 19805.
