29 CFR 1910.272(q)(6)(i): The employer did not equip bucket elevators with a belt alignment monitoring device which will initiate an alarm to employees when the belt is not tracking properly: a) Bunge North America located at 605 Goodrich Road in Bellevue, Ohio 44811; On or about November 20, 2018 the employer did not ensure bucket elevators equipped with belt alignment monitoring devices would initiate an alarm to alert employees when the belt is not tracking properly. Employees were exposed to fire hazards in that the monitoring devices of the east head house initiate a visual alarm into the control room which was not under the observation of an employee at all times.
