Ash Ave., Independence, Missouri- Employees were exposed to overhead hazards from employees and materials and were not protected from impact by the use of hard hats.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   Worksite located at 1311 S. Ash Ave., Independence, Missouri- Employees were exposed to an eye impact hazard in that the employees were using pneumatic nail guns and other tools that could cause employees to be injured due to eye impact and were not wearing eye protection.

Ash Ave., Independence, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a ladder to access the roof  structure. The ladder was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
