29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly:   a) Facility, where employees would be expected to fight incipient stage fires, fire extinguishers that were not inspected on a monthly basis included:   1. Administrative Building, the Amerex fire extinguishers located throughout the building. Where combustible materials included carpeting and paper files.  2. Maintenance Shop 203, the ABC fire extinguisher. Where combustible materials included  rubber tires.  The U.S Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 977497, citation no. 3, item no. 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on July 7, 2014 with respect to a workplace at Ferndale, WA.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:    a) Gun Cleaning Room, where lead was detected on the door handle. The site lead housekeeping program did not require employees to clean door handles in the room or instruct them to remove their gloves prior to touching door handles.   The U.S Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207009, citation no. 2, item no. 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 4, 2017 with respect to a workplace at Sumas, WA.          The U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1149914, citation number 2 , item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 21, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at Blaine, WA.   The U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 977497, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Ferndale, WA.
