29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about December 7, 2018: Two Diaz Construction Services LLC employees were observed installing the top plate while walking on the framing and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection; exposing employees to a 9-feet fall hazard. b) On or about December 7, 2018: Four Dylan Professional Construction LLC employees were observed walking on top of the floor joists while bracing them and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection; exposing employees a 11-feet fall hazard. c) On or about December 7, 2018: Two Dylan Professional Construction LLC employees were observed cutting plywood at the edge of the building on the deck and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection; exposing employees to a 11-feet fall hazard.
