29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): (1) All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were not kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) M1-10 coal/rock hopper: On December 11, 2018 and at times prior thereto employees walking and working in the area surrounding the top of the rock/fuel hopper were exposed to slip and fall hazards due to the accumulated mud from the materials being processed. The employer did not ensure that good housekeeping practices were established, enforced and maintained in this area. The accumulated material was not removed on a regular basis. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
