29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. On the north side of the work site, employees engaged in roofing activities used pneumatic nail guns and were not wearing eye and face protection exposing them to struck-by hazards and eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On the north side of the work site, employees engaged in roofing activities on a pitch roof of 12:12 without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet to the ground below. Samuel Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1262396, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4690 W. Eldorado Pkwy, McKinney, Texas 75069.
