29 CFR 1917.45(e)(1): Exposed moving parts, such as gears, chains, and chain sprockets, that present a hazard to employees during crane and derrick operations, were not securely guarded: a) Railhead - A groundman/spotter was near a Mi-jack mobile overhead gantry crane RC002, and two of the wheel chain sprocket guards were missing, exposing employee to an amputation hazard, on or about 12/20/2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
