29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling. On 11/20/2018, A employee of St. Louis Christmas Décor was hanging Christmas lights at 502 Luetkenhaus Blvd, Wentzville, Missouri. The roof of the commercial building was approximately 17 feet above a lower level. Employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system or personal fall arrest system. The employee was observed on the roof of the building without fall protection.
