OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards:    a) Worksite was located at 90 Park Avenue, Florham Park, NJ 07932.    An employee was exposed to struck by hazards as a Husqvarna Model K760 Power Cutter with a diamond blade was used to cut polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe in close proximity to the employee.    Violation occurred on or about January 2, 2019.    b) Worksite was located at 90 Park Avenue, Florham Park, NJ 07932.    An employee was exposed to struck by hazards as a Husqvarna Model K760 Power Cutter with a diamond blade was used to cut polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe when the power cutter flange washers had not been inspected for damage prior to use.    Violation occurred on or about January 2, 2019.    c) Worksite was located at 90 Park Avenue, Florham Park, NJ 07932.    An employee was exposed to struck by hazards as a Husqvarna Model K760 Power Cutter with a diamond blade was used to cut polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe when diamond blades are not intended for cutting plastic materials.    Violation occurred on or about January 2, 2019.
