29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone:  a) Glue Line #7 - On or about January 2, 2019, an employee suffered an amputation of the tip of the right middle finger when his glove was caught in the ingoing nip point on the top of the automated core plate racking system on the Stringer 1302 machine. The employee tried to push the parts one at a time since the parts were getting jammed. The employer did not provide special tools to prevent the employee from placing a hand in the danger zone.
