29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes must be arranged so that employees will not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel is effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers.  (a) At the South Exit, the employer did not ensure that employees would not have to travel towards a high hazard area in that an LP tank for a gas grill was being stored so as to limit use of exits or areas normally used for the safe egress of people. This condition was noted on or about 01/11/2019.  NOTE: Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos, which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(5)(i): Flammable liquids, including stock for sale, shall not be stored so as to limit use of exits, stairways, or areas normally used for the safe egress of people:  (a) At the East Exit, the employer failed to ensure that employees had a safe means of egress, in that a yellow flammables cabinet was located directly along the path of the exit route. This condition was noted on or about 01/11/2019.   NOTE: Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. 29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 degree F (37.8 degree C), were dispensed into containers without the containers being electrically interconnected:  (a) Employees were exposed to flammable hazards when transferring windshield cleaning liquid which contained methanol (53 degrees F flashpoint) from a barrel into portable containers. The barrel was not electrically bonded to the refilled containers. These conditions were noted on or about 01/11/2019.
