(Exception: Not required where employer can demonstrate that snow or ice will be removed before it can present a hazard):    A.  On or about January 29, 2019, Shipping/Receiving Area:  The emergency exit route leading from the building to the parking lot had not been cleared of ice and snow from a recent storm.  Employees were exposed to slip hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:      A.  On or about January 28, 2019, Production Area:  Employees routinely worked with chemicals including but not limited to:  Flexographic inks containing amine, resin and carbon black; Blanket & Roller Wash containing butoxyethanol, 2-, D-Limonene, light aliphatic solvent naphtha, trimethylbenzene, 1,2,4-; isopropanol; and Bondaflex Sil 100GP silicone sealant containing methyltriacetoxysilane and ethyltriacetoxysilane.  The company had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that addressed labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets and employee information and training.

On or about January 29, 2019, Propane Tank Storage Cage:  A Badger ABC fire extinguisher mounted on the exterior wall of the building near the propane tank cage had not been inspected since July 2017.
