29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) 329 South 25th Street, Harrisburg PA - Employee(s) were observed performing roofing work activity on an 6 in 12 pitch residential apartment roof without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing employees to a fall from the main roof of approximately 18 feet to the ground below, on or about January 11, 2019. Marlin J. Stoltzfus dba, Stoltzfus Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1256510, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 13, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Sunbury Christian Academy 135 Spruce Hollow Road , Northumberland, PA 17857. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
