29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing hazards and the authority to stop work and make the necessary corrections).   a. 214 East North - On or about July 22, 2025, employees were working at the site were not subject to frequent inspections by a competent person with authority and willingness to stop work and require the use of safety equipment or correct hazards present on site before the start of work. Employees were exposed to fall and struck by hazards.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The Roof - On or about July 22, 2025, employees were working on the roof installing slats for the metal roofing, the employees were using pneumatic nail guns without eye protection.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
