29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:      Instance a. KBC Lathe Machine - On or about January 15, 2019, the KBC (model Grip-1340G S/N 520280) lathe machine headstock rotating chuck and lead screw were not guarded to prevent employees from contacting the rotating parts.     Instance b. Slitting lathe Machine - On or about January 15, 2019, the rotating shaft was not guarded to prevent employees from contact with a rotating part.     Instance c. KBC Lathe Machine - On or about January 15, 2019, the KBC (model Grip-1540 S/N 700450) lathe machine's lead screw was not guarded to prevent employees accidental contact with the rotating part.
