29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At 23092 Perdido Beach Boulevard, Hilton Garden Inn, Orange Beach, Alabama: On or about January 28, 2019 and at time prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roof activities without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 11.7 feet to the ground below. THE LARRY MCWATERS & ASSOCIATES, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1118027, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 28, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 909 ARIOLA DR., PENSACOLA, ALABAMA.
