29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) City of Allentown, Pumps area, Allentown, PA, Diesel Canopy - on or about February 1, 2019, employees were performing steel erection activities, working approximately 16 feet above a lower level, without utilizing any means of fall protection. The Swope Contracting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1368352 Citation number 1, Item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 25, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 446 Harleysville, Pike, Souderton, PA.
