29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about February 13, 2019, on the 5:12 pitch metal roof, 3 roofing employees installing the ridge cap material at the west end of the roof were exposed to a 17 feet to 26 feet fall hazard from the roof eaves in that they were not protected by a fall protection system.
