Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately twenty (20) feet. (b) Employee(s) conducting rough framing work while standing on the top of 1st floor framed walls were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately twelve (12) feet from the top plate of the walls to the lower level.
