29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) Near CNC Plate Edger: Establishment: On or about February 20, 2019, and at times prior, workers were exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a pedestal grinder while the tongue guard of each wheel (2) was fully retracted resulting in an opening greater than one inch.
