29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Lot 50 of Woodbury Estates Subdivision: On or about March 7, 2019, the employer exposed two employees to a lower level fall hazard of approximately 20 feet, in that no proper fall protection was being used while installing roofing material.

29 CFR 1926.502(d): "Personal fall arrest systems." Personal fall arrest systems and their use shall comply with the provisions set forth below. Effective January 1, 1998, body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system. Note: The use of a body belt in a positioning device system is acceptable and is regulated under paragraph (e) of this section. a) Lot 50 of Woodbury Estates Subdivision: on or about March 7, 2019, the employer exposed an employee to asphyxiation and fall hazards, in that a body belt was being used as part of his personal fall arrest system while installing roofing material.
