29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(vii): The brakes shall be set and outriggers, when used, shall be positioned on pads or a solid surface. Wheel chocks shall be installed before using an aerial lift on an incline. Brakes, outriggers, and/or wheel chocks were not utilized as required: On or about March 7, 2019, at 7905 66 Ave, Vero Beach, FL, 32967, an employee was exposed to a crushing hazard while trimming trees from the basket of a Skylift Mini Arborist 53 that was placed in between a ditch near the side of a public road, with its outriggers bypassed and placed on top of grass surface.
