29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a. 500 Pierce St., Somerset, NJ    The employer did not ensure adequate machine guarding was provided to prevent employees from entering or inserting body parts into machines or equipment.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of food products worked at or around equipment that included, but was not limited to Mogul 4, were able to enter the feeder section of the equipment that did not have a physical guard and/or where physical guards were present there were no interlocks to stop the equipment when the guard was opened.     Violation occurred on or about March 13, 2019    b. 500 Pierce St., Somerset, NJ     The employer did not ensure adequate machine guarding was provided to prevent employees from entering or inserting body parts into machines or equipment.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of food products worked at or around equipment that included, but was not limited to Mogul 1, were able to enter the point of operation where the physical guard was opened for the feeder and an interlock or other device was not installed and the equipment continued to run.    Violation occurred on or about March 15, 2019
