29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): (a) Jobsite, Route 403, Johnstown, PA: On or about March 19, 2019 two employees were working in an excavation approximately 7 1/2 feet in depth with vertical side walls and no protective systems were in place to protect employees from cave-ins.
