29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  a)  On or about March 21, 2019, the employer did not initiate a program which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site by a competent person.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

SRL Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1360620, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed final order on February 5, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 5819 S. New England Ave., Chicago, IL 60638.    SRL Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1329438, citation 2, item 2, and was affirmed final order on October 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 5336 Lawn Ave., Western Springs, IL 60558.    SRL Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1219804, citation 1, item 2a, and was affirmed final order on June 14, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 8806 S. Morgan St., Chicago, IL 60620.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
