29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: At a worksite located at 9205 NE 94th St, Kansas City MO: Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were observed using pneumatic nail guns without the use of protective eyewear while roofing a new residential building.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: At a worksite located at 9334 N Ditzler Ave, Kansas City, MO: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer failed to train employees in the recognition of hazards associated with falls on the worksite. This was demonstrated when an employee was observed working on a roof with fall protection that was not donned according to the manufacture's instructions.
