29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:    a)  At 8426 Mackie Lane, Lot 86 Winged Foot, Daphne, Alabama:  On or about March 27, 2019 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a six foot a-frame ladder to gain access to the tops of 9 foot walls and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 9 feet to the concrete floor below.

THE JAIRON ENAMORADO DBA JAIRON ENAMORADO WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.102(A)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1360752, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JNUARY 8, 2019, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 737 WINESAP DR., FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA.
