29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) New Edger Line: On or about March 27, 2019 and at times prior, an employee was exposed to a 13 ft. fall while removing second floor decking. (b) North Side of Building: On or about March 27, 2019 and at times prior, an employee was exposed to an approximately 12 ft. fall while disposing of second floor decking. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
