29 CFR 1910.268(n)(8): Safety straps and body belts were not worn when working at elevated positions on poles, towers or similar structures, which do not have adequately guarded work areas. 152A John Ford Rd, Ashfield, MA On August 7, 2019 and at times prior, the employer did not require all employees to wear safety straps or body belts to protect them from fall hazards when climbing and descending poles. On April 3, 2019, an employee descending a pole without fall protection received serious injuries after falling more than 10 feet to the ground.
