Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 4/02/2019, Nerry Humberto Tuj Mejia DBA Nerry Humberto Tuj Mejia was removing roofing materials on a roof of a commercial building located at 70 Bell Road in Wright City, MO. The owner and seven employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems while working on a 6/12 sloped roof approximately nine feet above the ground.
