29 CFR 1910.28(b)(7): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface near an opening 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in production activities at the tool floor deck of the 41 Section in 737 Shop, Column K-11 North were exposed to fall hazard of approximately 6 feet 8 inches from the walking / working surface of the crew deck to the metal check-plate structure below.  Employees were exposed in that a fall protection system was not in place while working next to the openings of the flipper doors (22.5 inches by 45 inches openings).  29 CFR 1903.19 (d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
