1910.212(a)(3)(iii) Special handtools for placing and removing material shall be such as to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone. Such tools shall not be in lieu of other guarding required by this section, but can only be used to supplement protection provided. Fabrication Shop: On or about April 9, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to amputation hazards, while performing bending operations on the Cidan Power Folder machine, Model K 25-30, without a presence sensing device.

29 CFR 1910.36(c)(3): Exit stairs that continue beyond the level on which the exit discharge is located were not interrupted at that level by doors, partitions, or other effective means that clearly indicate the direction of travel leading to the exit discharge: Second floor, head of stairs: On or about April 9, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fire hazard without directional signage for an emergency exit leading down the stairs to the first floor.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign must be illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color. Self-luminous or electroluminescent signs that have a minimum luminance surface value of at least .06 footlamberts (0.21 cd/m2) are permitted. Second floor, head of stairs: On or about April 9, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to fire hazards, as the emergency exit sign was not illuminated.
