29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: The controlling contractor is failing to ensure that all employees of the sub-contractor Aguilar Galvez Roofing LLC are protected from fall hazards while working on a residential roof. This most recently occurred on April 8, 2019 on the jobsite located at 1571 Hardwood Dr., Papillion, NE 68046. Eight employees from Aguilar Galvez Roofing LLC were observed installing new shingles on the roof of an existing house. Four of the employees were not utilizing any form of fall protection. The house has a ten in twelve steep sloped pitch and ground to eve height is approximately thirteen feet. Weddle & Sons, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1191719, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 27, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 4941 Concord Rd, Lincoln, NE 68516.
