29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):      (a) Garage Roof - On or about 04/09/2019, construction workers were exposed to a 10 foot fall from the unprotected edge of an open-sided floor for the wire rope guradrials that had originally surrounded the area were removed.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:     a)  Driveway - On or about April 10, 2019, two 1/2 inch vertical rebar were left unprotected by the main entrance to a building under construction.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:      a)        Ground Level to First Floor - On or about April 09, 2019, construction workers were exposed to up to a 12 foot fall from a set of interior stairs having more than four risers that were not provided with a handrail.       b)      First to Third Floors - On or about April 10, 2019, construction workers were exposed to up to a 12 foot fall from a set of interior stairs having more than four risers that were not provided with a handrail.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
