OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.    a) Storage Area/Maintenance Bay - on or about April 17, 2019, employees transferred sand blast time release concrete converter/dissolver into workplace containers, but were not provided with suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body in the work area for immediate emergency use.

Except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8) of this section, the employer shall ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked with either: *The information specified under paragraphs (f)(1)(i) through (v) of this section for labels on shipped containers; or, *Product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, will provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.   a) Storage Room/Maintenance Shop - on or about April 17, 2019, employees used anti-freeze for maintenance of vehicles placed into a workplace container, but was not properly labeled to include the pictures, symbols, or combinations thereof to provide general information regarding the hazards of the chemical within.
